Head Law in the News: “Family sues state, corrections department over 2015 beating death of Utah prison inmate.”

Earlier today, the Salt Lake Tribune reported the recent lawsuit filed by Head Law on behalf of the Estate of a prisoner who was killed by his cell-mate while at the Utah State Prison.

The Estate has filed claims against the Defendants for violating the decedent’s civil rights, including his rights of due process and against cruel and unusual punishment in violation of the Fourth, Eighth and Fourteenth Amendments of the United States Constitution.
